I may not be right voidoid,but their first ten hits were no 9,6,2,3,4,1,1,3,4,4.in the charts in 1971,'74,'74,'74,'74,'75,'75,'75,'76,'76.

The band you refer to completed the 10 in 12.01. Like so many of the questions in this quiz there's another possible answer - they achieved the set in the 70s.

I think it's a matter of how you interpret the question polly1958. In your list there is nothing for posistions 5, 7 and 10. I stand to be corrected on this, but I think they want the first time each individual position between 1 and 10 were filled by ten different songs, not the first group to have 10 top ten hits in any position so in effect you have three 4th posisitions and two 1st positions. Don't worry voidoid as far as I can tell it has only ever been achieved once although others are close to it. That's the one I am going for anyway
