I HAVE A CREDIT CARD AND FOR SAFETY I LOWERED THE CREDIT LIMIT TO £1000.00 WHICH WAS PLENTY FOR ME I HAD NO INTENTION OF EVEN GOING THAT FAR,LAST WEEK I HAD A E-MAIL FROM THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY SAYING I WAS NEARING MY LIMIT, ON CHECKING I WAS ASTONISHED AND SHAKEN TO FIND THAT I WAS £650.00 OVER MY LIMIT PLUS SLAPPED ON THAT WAS A £12 GOING OVER FEE, ON CHECKING THE CARD ON-LINE STATEMENT SOMEONE HAD PURCHASED A FLIGHT AND RETURN TO USA ON MY CARD HOWEVER THEY OBTAINED MY DETAILS GOD ONLY KNOWS,WHAT MADE ME MORE RAGED WAS THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY ALLOWED A SALE WHICH WELL EXCEEDED MY CREDIT LIMIT ,SO IS IT WORTH DOING OUR BIT TO PREVENT C/C FRAUD IT DOSENT LOOK LIKE IT.
BY THE WAY THE FRAUD WAS CLEARED BY THE CARD COMPANY , BUT THE LAUGH OF IT IS THEY PAID ME CASHBACK ON THE FRAUDED SALEI TOLD THEM TO REMOVE IT BUT WAS TOLD WE CANNOT DO THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE A DEBIT CASH BACK IT WILL REDUCE AS YOU PURCHASE. WHAT A PI ING LAUGH.
