dont have sex to make a baby, have sex for enjoyment.
If you know when youre ovulating then best times are 2 days before up to 3 days after.
also, after having sex dont jump up and rush to bathroom. You dont need to lie with your legs in the air or anything but walking about means gravity works against you.
You are young so you do have time on your side. Im not saying youre too young to have kids, but dont put such a pressure on yourselves, it will happen when it happens.

Hi
My husband and I were on the waiting list for fertility treatment, he had 3 test and all were fine. I had to go for a laperoscopy to see if there was any abnormalities in my womb. We were on the waiting list for IUI when out of the blue I discovered I was pregnant! It took us 5 years to concieve but now have a beautiful daughter. It will happen for u I'm sure, but, what I will say is don't waste this precious time you with each other worrying about getting pregnant you are both young and have plenty of time. I think that relaxing and letting nature take it course is all you need,

Society - that's a terrible answer! Some of us need a little help and there's nothing wrong with that. I still haven't managed to get pregnant but I do know that leaving it to "god" sure as he11 won't help!
I would advise you to change your GP. They may say you should wait until you have been trying for two years. Try looking up body basal temperature charting so when you do go back to your GP you have some information (it helps show if you are ovulating or not - and if you are you can predict your most fertile time). The more information you have the more they can help.
Check out info on PCOS and see if any of the symptoms apply to you. Obviously i'm not saying you have it - just its very common and many people don't get diagnosed until they start trying for children.
They will probably start with blood tests to check your hormone levels. They might try and put you off because of your age but if it's what you really want to do the persevere. Good luck x

Bean u are so right if I left it up to "god" I'd still be trying I was diagnossed with PCos to begin with and changed my diet and lost weight..can't say if that was the kicker or not cause i put my hubby on zinc at the same time as I read it can help sperm mobility all I can say is he started zinc in sept I was pregnant in Oct. Who knows what it was that helped but I'm pretty sure that if I lefit it up to god I'd still be trying. God helps thoses who help thereselves lol
Me and my Partner have been trying for 2 and a half years now, he had all the same tests as your partner by the sounds of it, and he got the all clear, they then turned to me and I had tests many months later it was then discovered I had PCOS, so its much harder, not impossible though, to get pregnant, my treatment is still ongoing, I originally stopped taking my pill in June 2009, been under the hospital for about 2 years, I have been on Clomid, which forces you to ovulate to help your chances, maybe you might not need any of this and it will eventually just happen, but if for your own piece of mind you want to be checked out the I would persue with your doctor, and if he says no, then ask why. If you have been trying for a year and have had no luck then they should start looking into things for you. Good luck x

You are both young and there are so many things you can do. The first is for you to start charting your cycle so that you know when you ovulate. Also, taking fertility vitamins for men and women helps increase sperm quality in men and stimulate healthy ovulation in women.
