Thank you Dinkypuzzled. I thought of that but have SONG THRUSH as the answer to musical fungal growth (6,4) so was wary of having thrush on its own.

Thank you. Is dabs a bird or is a dab a bird? They do occasioally have plurals for no reason I can see.
