Favourite Words?
25 Answers
Do you have any “favourite words”?
That is those words that you like to use a lot,or words that you like to put into your conversations, maybe just to confuse friends and make them think how bright you are.
They could even be words you just like the sound of,but are not absolutely sure what they mean, but they sound clever?
Mine are (and no I am NOT telling you which ones I know the meaning of! OL)
Esoteric
Altruistic
Cognitive
Endomorphic
Synapse
Frenetic
Labyrinthine
Turgid
Disparate
Sacerdotal
Rapprochement
Denouement
Now(as I said before) I don’t the meaning of ALL these words, but they sound good when slipped into a conversation.
Have you got any words, they don't have to be as obscure as mine, just ones that you like to use?

Good morning Alec. Someone I know has a love of the word 'auditorium' - not an easy one to get into regular conversation I would imagine. I don't think I have any favourites but upon reflection I do employ the following on a fairly regular basis: diverse, altruistic, obtrusive and insular. Interesting post though - I expect I shall think of others over the weekend!
