Has anyone any tips when skipping with a incompetent lead and slightly better second player. Apart from substituting them. Lead never gets on the cot. Second is nearly always too fast and off the end.
I did think of asking them to put a blocker in either side, that way they may get knocked up nearer the cot that is if they can get over the line. HELP we are playing later today.
Why not play lead yourself. If you are that good ? A good lead player will win more ends than most skips. You should think yourself lucky to have found two people who are prepared to play with you.
All you can do is be patient and not try to show your frustration, keep calling out your suggested rolls but remember skill can take a long time in coming.
If you ditch your current team mates can you find replacements ?.
