Good morning everyone - happy to say that order has been restored in one area of production ie I have the matches from today's crossword, but sadly I think my current machine may be on it's last legs as it keeps losing and then relocating the contents of my inbox and no-one seems to know how/when/where and why !!
What a bumper weekend that was, with four getable matches and would you believe - in excess of 220 points scored over all, and these were the links -
Green Beret
Crab Apple
Reef Knot
Daisy Chain
and some of the early risers who already have their papers may be having a quiet chortle to themselves, knowing what they put as an answer - well, guess what, just about everyone else did the same. By the time I was half way down the first page, I was thinking surely someone is going to take top points for a clean sweep - little did I know what was waiting for me on page two !!!
So, to keep you all in suspenders, I'll go straight to the Leader Board and you can see just why I'm waffling S

Hello J - not been on much lately - had a nightmare of a week - husband had a hip resurface last July and it has all gone wrong resulting in fractured femur and total hip replacement on Feb 3rd (his birthday) so I have been all over the place this last week. Luckily he is home now. Well done on your 6 points so far!!!
Thanks Steff (you must be really looking forward to next week!!) and well done absolutely everybody ~ especially the Hewats with their 'Sublime to Ridiculous' result.
Has anyone noticed that all is fun and laughter on here whilst other Topics seem fed up and moany? What is it we have here that's different? Oh, of course, welcome back Pauline! x :0)

Yes, you're right about the new pc twix - my first I'd had for about 6 years, running windows xp with no problems at all really, she just got rather tired towards the end so we retired her - new one with Vista installed [ bad move, very bad, won't make that mistake again !!!] has been decidedly fickle, very temperamental and downright nasty at times [goes by the title - Regan ] and I'm getting suggestions thrown at me from all sides about replacing it ...but with what ??? that's the question. But for the time being, I think I've sorted the current problem, I seem to have got my mail back, though I've not been game to look this morning, so fingers crossed !!
Angler - shock and horror is not allowed, just go with the 'amazed' for the time being and you'll be surprised what happens.....btw, are the fish biting or have you abandonded the river bank until the daffodils come out ??
Dusty my dear - how could it be anything else but happy, with thee and me and a lot of other cheerful souls all along for the ride !!!
Roslyn - I do hope your husband is on the mend, having to have a second replacement - it must take a lot out of one. I'm looking at having both knees done at some stage, but not looking for ward to it at all !!!
Nice one, Steve - and I'm still on the armagnac trail, I think about $60.00 a bottle out here, most spirits seem to start around $45.00 and go up from there - think I'll stick to my sauv blanc.!!
