low down on dentists?
15 Answers
Hi there, im not a regular dentist goer...as are many I went about a year ago due to a hole/crack in the surface of a tooth ajoining another tooth, which involved a root canal on one tooth and a crown or filling on the other? I dont know what it is called on the second tooth I think just the top was replaced or filler added ontop which was then moulded to a tooth shape??
Anyway this was private in an expensive looking place because I was told they were painfree by a relative it wasnt pain free at all and it cost me £500.
I don't live too near that dentist anymore so I need to find someone more local, I am stuggling to get anyone, I am in average discomfort with the same problem as last time but on the other side. If I am lucky it might not need a root canal, it doesnt seem heat senstive like last time.
But what is all this talk about NHS dentists, is it true they are hard to find and then is there a long waiting list? So really if I am in pain I will have to go private at high expense is that right?
Any help would be great!
