Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Cany anyone help with 90 across? The clue is "Benefited" (8 letters) and I have "?R?A?T?D". I am fairly sure that the letters I have are correct but I cannot find a word that fits and relates to the clue. I thought about "PROACTED" but I'm not sure if there is such a word or, if there is, how it would relate to the clue.

What a rapid response! Whenever I feel I might be able to help with someone's question I am invariably too late to do so.

I think you are right. The "A" I had came from 77 down (clue "Weightier") where I had "HEAVIER" but it could well be "HEFTIER" which would give the "F" of "PROFITED".

That's what comes of going for the obvious!

Thank you for the additional suggestion cupid04. "CREDITED" is certainly another possibilty. I think, on balance, I will go for "PROFITED" but I will look forward to the solution when it is published with great interest!
