I guess the essential is the run bit. OK, so rhinos are a bit fast but they also weigh 2 tons so I guess they're not particularly manoeuvrable. c. Human hair contains protein; pasta is carbohydrate. Marathon runners eat lots of pasta. You'd think that if hair was a better source of energy they'd eat that, wouldn't you. d. I haven't seen this as a piece of survival - or rather non-survival - advice. I've read that bears don't attack humans unless they're threatened but still the sentiments in this answer have a ring of reasonableness. I'm going for C as the spoof.
This question is making me crazy.
I gotta agree with Don that question (c) makes the least amount of sense, but I have found contradictory stuff on both b & d as well.
Do you have access to Worst Case Scenarios: The Survival Guide? It's an American publication and I would bet money it is the source for this question. I searched all over for it today in the bookstores here but they were all out of stock. Their website doens't have a searchable file and doesn't include these examples, but it sounds like something they'd write.
We have worst case scenarios Travel and unfortunately none of the questions are covered. I too am going crazy on 30 have searched all boyscouts of america and anything to with lofty wiseman and can't find reference to any of them There are aspects of all parts which ring true but also parts of all of them that are disputable am still wondering whether to be risque and put all of them down
