Our theatriocal company are doing the show "Blitz", by Lionel Bart. In one of the songs "Petticoat Lane", there is an Assenheim Merchant. Does anyone know what an assenheim is. I've done several web searches without success.

Assenheim's Ices were made and sold on Petticoat Lane, I believe. Mr. Assenheim owned the ice cream factory.
