MM Links Solutions March 2010 [Week 1]

I can now reveal that 'Strix the Bibliophile' chose the following links for the first set of March.

Book BINDER/BINDING
TALL Story
Pen NAME
Blood TYPE

and a total of 30 points were awarded so it wasn't as bad as many of you feared.

The first link to be discovered was TALL STORY at 9:01 by Christiana, closely followed by Jools, beejay1124 and jan1956 for 2 points each.

The second link of PEN NAME went a minute later to tearinghair, closely followed by Grenmus - each get 2 points.

Just a minute further into the game, along came miss meg with BOOK BINDER (2 pts) and TALL STORY (1 pt) for a total of 3 points. Ulysses100 was also within time for two points here as well.

The shrubbery emptied without the final link being found. Players came and went (picking up a few single points in the process) until finally at five past four, kettledrum opted for BLOOD TYPE for the last bonus points.

A couple of further double-hitters also deserve a mention: deecee131 and twix123


This week the honours go to miss meg for highest scorer but I declare kettledrum to be HOT SHOT OF THE WEEK for finally discovering that elusive 4th link. Congratulations kettledrum.
(Sorry, in the rushed handover, crofter forgot to pass on the bugles, trumpets etc. but imagine them anyway)

You see - - - Strix wasn't as devious as many of you feared and I'm sure he'll be as gentle as pussycat again next week.
