A long shot.34 An alien in the proposals plan-ET-s giving planets. Mars?? I am trying- very trying, according to my daughter but I know she doesn;t mean it!
There is a sweet called Planets made by Mars, so that one sounds good to me.
Thank you Norberto. At least I was on the right track. I couldn't find Planets in my list. Another one solved, Birdie, thanks to Norberto.

Thanks for comments mike11111, I don't remember Penny Dainties but we didn't have too many sweets as they were rationed for such a long time & living in a remote village I didn't see many shops!!!
Thanks also Norbetto for your answer that sounds good.
Thanks again quinie almost there only one to go !!!!.
Which one is that?
Question Author
Sorry quinie it looks as if I didn't post that one, another senior moment!!
37 George W Bush & Lyndon Baines Johnson. I am also dubious about 30 Name tackle kind------Kit Kat what do you think ?.
I think 37 might be Presidents. It rings a vague sort of bell, but I have googled it without success.
My friends suggested these presidents might have something in common . but can't think what. By the way they remembered the Five Boys chocolate but Desperation etc
Got it quinie, your friends are right. What Bush and Johnson have in common is that they both came from Texas, hence Nestle's Texan bar!!!

Thanks so much again quinie & mike11111, don't remember noticing that one when looking round the sweet shelves, probably would not made the connection that you so cleverly have.
It was quinie who gave me the hint by suggesting that the connection might be specific between the two people, rather than more general. Suddenly the light went on in the front room! Texan bars were during the early 80s and not long-lived, so very easy to miss.
Are the entry forms still available for this. If so, where can they be obtained? I always do Alzheimers Quizzes.

Noughts and Crosses without the digits might be CUBES
How did you get to Kendal Mint Cake ? What about Noughts and Crosses without the digits, Birdie? Mike11111 suggested cubes. A friend thinks it might have something to do with crosses. Nought are digits so take them away. Another idea- is there a name for the grid for playing the game?
Question Author
