Can someone tell me why "bar relief" for Radio Times No 12 "Outstanding art form?

It's BAS Relief, jean, not bar - it's a form of moulding or masonry where the relief part stands out from the rest of the sculpture (hence "outstanding" in the clue = standing out)

a type of art in which shapes are cut from the surrounding stone so that they stand out slightly against a flat surface, or a work of art done in this way
