Agitato or Animato?
I have posted this question on the crossword topic as well but thought I would ask the real expert music buffs as there seems to be a conflict of opinion with some for one answer and some for the other. It is from this mornings Daily Telegraph (Sat. March 27th 2010). Both answers, I suspect are from the Italian; one meaning "agitated" and the other "animated" and both are accepted musical terms, you see what I mean? 17 down. clue: In an excited way when dealing with notes (7). I have: A?I?A?O. The third letter is an I for India. It has to be AGITATO or ANIMATO but various definitions I have looked at are quite ambiguous with ANIMATO as just about favourite. Advice please.
