Thank you both very much for the information. My newspaper did not have a magazine. I have been buying the paper for several weeks now for the crossword, which has always been in the paper. I have never seen a magazine with it. Very strange. Are the magazines only in Scotland perhaps?

Hi Elspeth Saturday's prize crossword is always in the separate magazine. Tuesday's prize crossword is in the newspaper.

Hi JMR 27 - what have I been doing for the last several weeks then???? It's a £500 prize crossword for sure. I wonder if it is put in the English version of the newspaper and the magazines in Scotland have the crossword? The plot thickens. We English deserve to know what is happening. I live not far from the border and things can get sticky up here if we feel badly done to! Can anyone else shed light on this mystery? I am inclined to go out and burn my copy of the newspaper in protest!

I'm in the Channel Islands and for the past few weeks have always had the magazine in my paper. Not today though. Very disappointing - no crossword!

Yep what a pity that you dont have a crossword. Its so easy this week I finished mine really quickly. What goes around comes around.

When I visit my parents in N.Ireland the crossword is always inside the newspaper (as is the content of most of the magazine) but in Scotland the crossword is in the separate magazine.
