Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I'm struggling on a cryptic clue question whose answer will be a game of some kind (probably indoor game). The clue is "You need these in order to play 5s and 3s and windmills". Any ideas?

Draughts? Windmills need wind.

You need dominoes to play 5's and 3's but don't know where windmills come into it.

Draughts sounds good, play fives and threes with the draughts and a draught is a wind for the windmill.

All interesting answers - thanks. I can see the windmills link for draughts, but don't get the 5s and 3s in this context. I understand 5s and 3s for dominoes, but like you can't see the windmill link. For jacks, I think it tends to be onesies, twosies, etc, and again I can't see the link to windmills.

There's no info on the number of words, etc, carmalee. The answer will just be the name of an indoor game, similar to those suggested, but of unspecified length.
