Mad over Fifties Club

The Club is now open.

Welcome all to our weekly meeting. I am so glad to be back in the fold ,so to speak, after a couple of weeks absence.
I trust all went well when I was away and that the emergency services were not unduly bothered. (Remember the warning last year.)

I am sure that tailcocks and nibbles will be arriving shortly.

Raffle prizes so far include:

a packet of pink wax earplugs (hardly used)

half a tube of polo mints

and, from lordalex, three gas masks . (He can be so thoughtful sometimes).

Have brought some hairslides and a rolling pin for the raffle

The past two weeks have started a bit slowly, think its the lighter evenings. But we have had fun.

Hello all, nice to see Mi'lady back, best to keep mum about a few things.
I have cleaned my cupboards out and have a tin of cat food for the raffle, can't remember ever having a cat.

Hallo milady and mamya, we might have some trouble getting here tonight. The volcanic ash is sadly preventing easy travel. I have however retrieved a pumice stone from the debris, here it is for the raffle. We could do with those gas masks if we are travelling northwards?

Knock knock m'lady. Pardon the intrusion but about a month ago boxtops invited me to join you all in the secure knowledge that she could vouchsafe for me, and mamya would do likewise for boxtops. I have been waiting on the side line but have not seen boxtops' arrival.
