Sorry about this Bertie, but just need to tell ladyalex about her picture.
This is the 17th century Manor house which is surrounded by a medieval moat which dates from the 1230's and is the oldest surviving structure in Groombridge. It contains more than an acre of water and is home to shoals of carp and roach.
!!!! So you see I really am swimming in your moat!!!!
