Lovin' this quote:

''Everyone with an IQ higher than their shoe size already knows that Danny Dyer is a complete clot.

And that Zoo 'readers' are doubly so''

I'm still reading the responses....

If he really does write the 'agony Uncle' column.....how could he be misquoted?
Because according to that little clip I can see he's making a tongue in cheek remark. Admittedly it's poor taste but I don't think it warrents any attention, (mind you, I don't think much in Zoo warrents attention).

That's how I interpreted it anyway... I don't really see what the fuss is about. It's Frankie Boyle - esq but without the intelligence so it doesn't work.
There are certainly some things in Zoo that warrants attention.

Not much of it is the written words though!
One of the comments made echoed my thoughts.........

Danny Dyer has lent his name and his photograph to a column which is to be written in a 'cockernee geezer stylee'..........he probably *never* sees the content before it is published.
Someone has obviously written these words; whether they were actually intended for publication is moot.............but I seriously doubt DD had anything to do with it.
The problem is that it is a "joke" - you know, except in the sense that it isn't funny?

To quote from a blog I like:

Danny Dyer is not Al Murray the pub landlord, and he was not casually repeating stereotypes about the occupants of another country. Danny Dyer is not well established in the public consciousness as a comic character. Well, maybe he sort of is, but not deliberately. He’s not a fictitious construct. He’s a real person with real opinions, and when there’s absolutely nothing in any of the surrounding context of this remark to suggest humour or ribaldry, you can’t shrug it off with claims of “just a joke”.

It says Danny Dyer claims to have been 'completely misquoted'

I thought the same as Jack....but if he has been misquoted he's said something.

If someone said that in a pub....I'd probably laugh. Do Zoo readers really write in with their problems?

Ed....maybe you should advertise in Zoo.!!!
we recently had a wrap for one of our papers, someone in production resigned the ad to feature a giant willy, no-one spotted it and out it went.....

i heard somewhere this mronig that they were callig this a "production error" but in the same sentence they aslo called Danny one of britains best actors
