Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

MM and KM Links June 2010 [Week 1]

I must begin by confessing that I find myself in a most unusual position. After three years of overseeing the MM Links, I have absolutely no idea what will happen tomorrow morning. I received a most enthusiastic initial email from caslass ~ and thereafter “not a squeak”! Perhaps caslass thinks that she must go it alone and produce the preamble completely without support ~ my various emails to her clearly indicate that this is not so.

In any event, I shall have a Plan “B” ready tomorrow at 08.45 to swing into action if needs be. This being the first Friday in the month, regulars will know that it is Quiz Night at the Local Cricket Club, so I shan’t be available between the hours of 9.00pm and the witching hour! Needless to say, I shall check my emails before retiring for the night. Any first week always contains an unknown factor and we are (more or less) in the hands of the gods ~ but this week it is never truer. However, this game WILL proceed with the posting of four words to be linked at 9.00am, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Remember ~ early MM hits gain bonus points!

Of course, you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz and goes by the name of “seekeerz”. As I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.
