Thanks! How long does it take you to finish as you always seem to know every answer and never ask a question? I persevere with it and generally it pretty much finish eventually, but it is hard.

I've probably had a lot more experience than you as I've been doing crosswords for over 65 years.

This one took about 25 minutes. Getting a connected clue early on always helps.

Wow! I got interested in cryptic crosswords in my teens and have been doing them ever since. I really like the Guardian because it's hard but I generally only do the Saturday one as am a teacher and very busy. By the way, I've made my 40th year of doing crosswords so hope to top 65!
