Good morning everyone - are we all ready for the new weekend's onslaught ?? Kate has another set of wise words for us to create mayhem with, so thinking caps on, all of us.
Last week saw two matches go begging for points, let's try NOT to let that happen again - there were lots of possibilities I know, but arriving at the four nominated proved harder than expected - mind you, we all had a good crack at it. Perhaps this week will be better, we have -
HERB
CHURCH
STONE
MAJOR
And I'm saying nuffink !!! What I will say is that everyone is welcome to join in, the more the merrier of course. The contest runs till Sunday midnight and the results will be posted Monday morning, and don't forget your word lengths when you go to MM
The witching hour is almost upon us so GOOD LUCK all [ we may well need it !! ] and fingers on buzzers .... no, that's something else ....pay attention...... we're off !!! S
Like tearinghair I recognise "major" as a previous word on more than one occasion and like him/her I have never guessed correctly yet but being optimistic will have another go - triumph of hope over experience!!

yes, have added the owllets to the watching list - caught a glimpse of one of the parents as it disappeared - have you seen them feeding ?? aren't they noisy !!! and those wee faces on top of the ball of fluff !!
I've just seen Kingswood's tries. Sorry Kingswood, but I never look at other answers before I have a go. I feel sorry for you if you think the same way as me :-)
the loveliest/scariest thing I've seen with the owls so far was when the biggest chick flapped himself through the hole and sat on the ledge outside to get first pickings!! It worked twice then I had to go to bed!! He was back inside the next morning so . . . !
