if 30 d is Korma then what is 29a Deceitful, crafty S - E - K -T [7 letters] even my speller wont come up with anything, I saw SLEEKIT on A/B earlier but cant find that in the dictionary.

Hi Dee - I don't have the puzzle, but 'Sleekit' is in Chambers & means "sly, cunning, sneaking"

I have noticed since I recently started doing this crossword and sending it off that all the winners are from north of the border ? I have a friend in Scotland, should I use her address instead of my Essex one ?

Isn't it a Scottish paper? If so then don't most readers live in Scotland?
But maybe they do feel it won't go down well in Scotland if the winner comes from Essex

Surprisingly enough there are quite a few winners who live in England. I'm sure last week's winner was from down south. Stick with it Dee! :o)
