/// Two Labour politicians have pulled out of a meeting with the Pakistan president later this week in protest at his decision to travel to Europe while his country battles devastating floods.///

/// Khalid Mahmood and Lord Ahmed were due to meet Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday as part of a group of British politicians of Pakistani origin.///

Should these two British MPs be allowed to cause friction with the Pakistani President.

How can we ever achieve full integration, when two British MPs (one a peer of the realm) cannot make up their minds whether they are British or still Pakistani?

You cannot be a member of the House of Lords and an MP.

There are many organisations, such as 'Friends of Israel', of which our politicians belong. It does not mean they are not British.
since David Cameron has recently accused Pakistan of bolstering terrorism, who is really causing friction with Pakistan? (And rightly so imho.)
Its an odd think to do. why not pitch up and heckle him about it ?
Funniest line of the week by far (and this includes everything I've heard on my DVD of 'The Thick Of It'):

"How can we ever achieve full integration, when two British MPs (one a peer of the realm) cannot make up their minds whether they are British or still Pakistani?"

Brilliant.
Who do they cheer at cricket ?
