I think the answer will be LOVE TORN then rather than LOVELORN which I think is one word

This was also Q86d, although oddly this poster said the clue was Broken-Hearted (4,4) and said the crossword was from a Fun Day magazine

Perhaps different editions of the paper, I have the one printed in Belfast and
86d has 8 letters, I might just go into their help line and listened to what they
say the answer is.
