I too despair for humanity

I first had to read the previous post before I started on my subject in case serminator was posting on the same subject.
But no his post was about a bull, yet my 'despair for humanity' was regarding this attempted child gang rape by two (under the age of criminal conviction) disgusting little savages.
These two little cretins got off almost scot free, all they got was a supervision order and made to sign the sex offenders register, for attempting to gang rape an eight year old girl.

You are correct, this seems rather strange.
/// The girl claimed last October that the boys had dragged her to a block of flats and kept her in a bin shed as they repeatedly raped her near her home in Hayes, west London, but she later retracted the story during cross-examination, saying she had made it up to avoid getting into trouble. ///

I really have no idea why my post is mentioned in this one? Why you're taking a personal interest in my post i have no idea? Is this some kind of one-up-man-ship?
Is my post too trivial because its not about babys getting killed or black people doing stuff wrong? Are we only allowed to post on the most absolute dispiciable? then why is there a daily theread from you on some poor people collecting benefits?
Concentrate on your own posts and let other people express their opinions in peace! Especially when they have abaolutely no bearing on your life!

Calm down, calm down, why are you getting so shirty?
I was simply pointing out my chain of thought as an introductory.
I had heard about this case on the radio and when I came on answer bank to air my views on the case I saw your headline, and having been pulled over the coals previously because I had dared to duplicate a story, I thought I would open yours up first to see, only to find this wasn't about the child but a bull.
Due to the fact that I am criticised extensively no matter what I post on any particular subject, perhaps you could lead the field and post rules of deployment that A.O.G. should adhere to but everyone else can ignore?

Well sandy I don't think in this case one can automatically blame their home life.
Perhaps one can blame the general decline in morals, lack of self respect, and not being frightened of the consequences of their actions.
I don't think they should have been tried in the Old Bailey, but in a special juvenile court and sentenced to a term in a young persons establishment, where they could undergo treatment, to try and make sure that they would not be likely to commit anything like it in the future.
But set free to loiter around the estate again, defiantly not.

I'll apologise if I need to but as I ponted out on my FAO AOG post the WAY you post is horrendously suspect!
'But no his post was about a bull, yet my 'despair for humanity' was regarding this attempted child gang rape by two (under the age of criminal conviction) disgusting little savages.'
That whole phrase LOOks like your being particularly obtuse (also confirmed by other posters) But anyway if this was completely innocent:
I apologise!
now your second point!.....

Fair enough AOG, i should have said nearly so i apologise as what i said wasnt 100% factually correct but was in fact an exaggeration! so i apologise
right I've apologised twice for a mistake! you cause me great offence(whether you meant it or not you still did!) with your opening statement are you man enough to apologise back?

To return to the point raised in AOG's post -
'child gang rape'? 'disgusting little savages'? 'two little cretins'?
Really AOG, you are surely enough of a student of the medai to understand that the titilation / righteous indignation (a double whammy for any tabloid story) aspect of this case has been exploited to the maximum by the media.
These boys are children - not cretins or savages - and the judge (who knows far more about this case than us, or indeed the media) accepted that they were not aware of the seriousness of their actions.
I would not wish to minimise the traums suffered by this little girl, but surely all three are victims of a society in which parenting skills are not lacking, more absent - hence the parenting skills courses for the parents.
Should we not turn our attention to the lack of proper education and support for these families - growing up in hopless deprivation on sink estates without any proper support systems in place.
We do not know the home lives of these boys, the kind of parenting they receive - or not - so surely we should sympathise with all involved? I do.
