Fashion Designer/ GCSEs

Hi, I really would like my main career to be in fashion design.

I am quite good at drawing people, very good at drawing clothes and have been told my designs are ver creative and that I should become a fashion designer.

I am also looking into becoming an actress, model or director (I know all these seem very immature ''I wanna be a popstar and live in a castle'' sort of choices but they are serious career choices I am looking into, enjoy and do well in.)

So I was wondering what GCSEs/A levels I should take. I have 3 choices and one Design Technology choice so my choices are so far 1. Drama, 2. Media Studies 3. I am not sure! and for D.T. Textiles.

I was wondering if anybody could give me some ideas for my 3rd choice given the career paths I wish to take.

Thanks

Hi kinky. This recent thread may be of some use.

You should also tell us which subjects you have to choose from.

Good luck!

Well we have basically any subjects you can think of, give me any ideas you think of and I will find some that are part of our choices.

Are there any young designer websites or other things like that? Or even just competitions?
