 vindaloo originates from Indian state of Goa which was originally colonised by the Portugese who brought their language with them. The name translates roughlyas meat cooked in wine ( or vinegar )

In the Penguin Dictionary of Saints saints are given for some gaps in the above list but not, for example, 6 Jan.  I would guess you could find saints for all 365 if you really tried.
