Re Bare Bones grid...

Good morning everyone!

Late start today & the first thing I see is a mistake on the grid for this puzzle...

I emailed Chris Feetenby & he sent me the corrected grid, saying -

"...I have attached a correct grid in rtf format which, if you wish, you may print out and submit for the competition, attaching it to the printed grid...".

Corrections are these -

From the left, 4D begins in the 6th box
The 1st black square should be 3 boxes further on, with the 2nd black box 3 squares below that
12A should be 1 space further to the left, so 4th box in from the right

The grid is sitting on my desktop & if anyone can tell me how to make it available to everyone, I'd be grateful!

Lie in king, just settled down to do the Barebones, I always leave it till last, and was flummoxed as you can imagine. Scrolled back to see if anyone had mentioned it and found this post of yours. Ta very much for your efforts, you will get your reward in heaven I am sure!!

Hi methyl - to the best of my knowledge, as long as the finished grid is entirely legible, it should be accepted - good luck! :-)

Thank you all for your nice comments! I think I had 30-odd requests & hope that everyone was able to print the grid ok.

hmff I've just sat for ages and realised grid was wrong when I worked out a few answers. Worked out the whole thing from scratch and only just seen this here. Still happy I got it under my own steam :)

hmmmff I have just sat for hours saying this couldn't possibly work as the answers I had didn't fit and I knew they were right. Worked out the whole thing without a new grid using logic only and feeling quite smug :)
