I need help cracking a coded padlock
9 Answers
Basically, we have lost the code for the coded padlock and the powers that be cannot remember the code. We have tried clocking numbers up and looking for looseness or play in the claspe but to no avail. Over the weekend we put together spreadsheets containing all the possible codes from 0000 to 9999. Is there a really quick way in which we could get all the numbers tested so we can finally get the lock open?
Many thanks in advance.

Firstly, I very much doubt whether there is a quick waymto do this as it would make 4 digit combi locks virtually useless as security devices.
There are 10,000 different combinations therefore, assuming 10'seconds to test each one equates to 27 hours to test all of them. Of course, you could be lucky and find it after 10 minutes!
