Good morning to all MM linkers (that is, those who have decided not to hibernate now that winter is well and truly approaching).
This week's preamble will be fairly brief, as I have spent most of this week being patronised by my two-year granddaughter. On the positive side, she has taught me how to work her mother's iPad.
In any case, my biography over the next few decades [viz. moving to England, getting married, having four children as well as a career] has become a kaleidoscopic blur.
When the merry-go-round stopped, and I had time to think, a cunning plan to avoid cooking the last year’s family Christmas dinner occurred to me ...
'Am I alone in wondering', as letter-writers to the DTel often say, whether all is well in Linkworld? OK, so I'm a worrier... but there were few of the 'usual suspects' at yesterday evening's 7pm posting, and I don't think there are as many entries as usual by this time of day. It's probably just Christmas-shoppingitis, but I do hope everyone is well.
You see, tearinghair, it all relates to that young minx Pauline. Life is quiet and uneventful until, firebrand that she is, she steps into a normal placid, dare I say, civilised website a.k.a. the Shurbbery and suddenly all is aflame.
That is what happens when she steps in. The bonfire is lit and the cauldron comes to a boil and the whole joint is a-jumping.
Right, Pauline, where the h*ll were you last night?
Sick ticket required.
