Itchy and Static
4 Answers
Now it's the time of year we use the tumble dryer, clothes when worn leave the skin all itchy and the clothes are full of static. We do use Bounce to put in the dryer, but it dunner seem to help. Could it be the material of the clothes, the temp/heat on the dryer, though this is on lower setting or having a mixture of clothing materials in together?...or do we just have sensitive skin?...it's a never ending scratch! Ta Muchly.

I never use fabric softener in my wash, and I am sure that this makes the tumble drying more effective - try just using wash powder/tablets and no conditioner (if you use it, that is!) and see if it makes a difference.
If it does, you will save on both conditioner AND Bounce - I don't think either are necessary.

I wonder if Anti-Static balls would be better, as they're more 'vigorous' than a sheet of Bounce?
