I am trying to find the answers to the clues:

1. What hot toast make
2. Drink for elevenses (not sure if its tea or coffee)

Well unless there is some other requirement (eg answers in alphabetical order) then both answers are equally right for 2.

Unless 1 is tea and answers cannot be duplicated?

How do you link tea to number one, I am really not sure?

I think they mean unless you have used "tea" for another question.

I had drink for elevenses as tea but if I change that to coffee and what hot toast make to tea, does that sound right?

No, no,no. Tea has no connection with question 1.

dzug is saying that both answers would fit for question 2 unless you have already used "tea" earlier in the quiz.

OK I read that differently as dzug2 wrote "Unless 1 is tea" as in number 1 above. What do you think number 1 is then?

I have used ginger for the clue "Miss Rogers" but I suppose gingerbread is definately different?

It also fools me because surely it should be, "what hot toast makeS" with an S?

Actually I did mean tea for no 1 - as in hot toast is a form of teacake. Not a very good answer I'm sure - but the general point also applies if you can't use the same answer twice.
