Christmas films, and references to Santa.
18 Answers
I've noticed that an awful lot of Christmas films make reference to the non existence of a very important festive entity when watching them. When watching them with my 7 year old child I find myself cringing and waiting for the inevitable questions, but thusfar they have never come, what gives?

With any luck these children will learn from this a valuable lesson in the virtues of honesty and in whom they can trust, which can be applied throughout their lifetime. Alternatively they will themselves become carriers and distributors of this insidious and dreadful social and intellectual disease.
Sooner or later, reality ultimately shines through proclaiming itself as the victor. Ones only choice in this matter is whether or not to find oneself on the winning side. One one knowingly chooses to be a loser. They just get there by playing the part.
