At panto this afternoon. I'm going with s-i-l and kids as her Mum couln't make it. Cinderella starring Cilla Black. Is it wrong that I'm actually a little bit excited?
he's behind you !!!......have a great time...last time I took a friends kids to panto the chappie on stage said the magic word... Crackerjack... I was the ONLY one in a 2000 audience who yelled Crackerjack back... much to the embarrassment of the kids ! but.... got a pack of maltesers as a reward for a joke that would have otherwise have been lost !!
My uncle took some American colleagues/friends to the panto..........they were busy "shush-ing" the people around them until it was explained that everyone was supposed to join in.
neighbours kids and I were threatened with removal from a Wimbledon theatre panto once...Tommy trinder was one of the stars I think he was a spurs or fulham fan....I don't think he liked the response to ''oh children what shall I do... ' a large group at the back shouting buy a new striker....and singing blue is the colour.... wouldn't have been so bad but we were being egged on by my elderly grandfather
I'm completely starving and we have no food in the office and no shops within close distance. I can't bare the thought of not eating until I get home this evening. I did look on the theatre website but as it's a new place the site isn't properly set up yet.
It is exciting going to panto, our family are going to see Dick Whittington at Birmingham Hippodrome on Thursday & I'm looking forward to shouting to Julian Clary 'he's behind you'.
hope you have a great time at panto. i went on saturday to cardiff to see cinderella with brian connolly as buttons. we made the effort to trudge through the slush and snow after waiting for a train which was 50mins late. but it was worth it. my OH and 16 + 14 yr sons had a great time too.
