For pure schmaltz you can't beat Love Actually. Not really anything to do with Christmas but I've just watched the original Lassie Come Home with Roddy McDowell for the umpteenth time and cried buckets (again).

B00 I only watched It's a Wonderful Life a couple of years ago for the first time and loved it. Love the Lampoons as well, Chevy's face cracks me up lol

Prudie I've never watched Love Actually....might get it as I forget how funny Hugh Grant is until I watch Bridget Jones films (he's hilarious)

Yeah B00 I'm going to look out the DVD and watch it later, it's such a feelgood film and I don't know why I never watched it before. I'd thoroughly recommend it to everyone as well as ....A Muppets Christmas Carol! you don't get much better than that eh?
