Hot Gossip? I can see the Hot (vindaloo)- but does gossip mean 'the line'? Maybe I'm missing the obvious.

I'm not sure why you seem so irritated, taphead. Was it what I said?

I was simply suggesting that you (OP = original poster) might want to look at the previous 10 or so threads in which this question had been asked to see if the answer had already appeared. I didn't want to trawl through them all myself but by providing a link I thought I was being helpful.

And I'm not sure why you feel you haven't got a reasonable answer. I would have thought some of the answers in this thread merited a "thank you".
