I'm very sad to announce the sudden passing away of a true broadcasting legend and such a nice, dear fella.

Chris Copsey, known as 'Coppo', sadly suddenly passed away yesterday. The radio station he currently worked on doing the breakfast show, are all in shock at the news and are playing tunes for him this morning to which you can listen by clicking on the link 'listen live'.

They have set up a message link that wil be updated and put on their website during the next few hours/days and passed on to Chris's family , if anyone would like to contribute a message.

Wont probably mean anything to you good folk, other than those in the Southern parts of England, who who were lucky enough to either know Chris or listen to him on his many shows during his 27 years broadcasting on Southern Radio stations.

I just want to let you all know that my dad was the best dad in the whole wide world :) and that he will be missed by many people :L he would have been very grateful of all of these comments that all these people have left. i will miss him very much x

Here's Chris on his trip last year to Barbados broadcasting for Bright/Splash FM and other associated Southern stations when he was sent down to broadcast his show for the whole week.....he loved it. :0) ( making cocktails on Mango Bay and his whole blog whilst there is on you tube too. )
