I am sure I read this was their first quiz so seeing 35 of the 70 now asked on here must be a little disheartening and such a shame as right at the start someone gave the website of a brilliant site that was easy to then look for place with bird names

Thank you smouse for your comments and support. I really enjoyed setting this quiz which as you rightly say was my first attempt and I will do a follow up later in the year.
I have learnt that future ones will have the request of not asking for help prior to a certain time as I believe you and others are correct in what you say in that sales are affected by questions being asked too soon.
To quote a famous saying. 'Lessons have been learnt'

It doesnt matter how long a quiz has people still ask in the first week it is out this one being a perfect example

Thank you quinie, I am pleased you are enjoying the quiz and I understand what you are saying about a 2 month finishing time. I first advertised it on 14th November and bearing in mind that Christmas and New Year holidays involved long weekends where there was no postal service I felt that a minimum of 10 or 11 weeks would be required. It is more to do with selling rather than answering that quiz setters allow a longer period so there is a better chance of selling more, so I hope you understand my reason for this.

and people started asking for answers on the 28th so as I say the length of time it has to run makes no difference at all
