Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

23A I have Poinsettia - the (house) plant part of the clue. Oinsettia is made up from the cryptic part of another clue. Does any one know which one?? Obviously his is not the last solution to solve. Answer requires somebody who has completed crossword.

Sorry I can't remember which it was but it must have been one of the "P" clues:
1d 2d 12a 16d 17a , not 20a (that went with 16d)
Sorry I can't be more help but I scribbled right through the clues when I'd done them.
I do have a full grid if you need more help.

I have just finished this crossword except for 2d and 10a which I think are LONE and PEKE respectively. If they are, I don't understand the cryptic parts. Can you help? Many thanks.

2d is POGO and 10a is LEGO

Many thanks. We did consider these also, but why POGO? (non-cryptic part: Punk might do this, cryptic part: Oscar bash (without the P of course)? We thoroughly enjoyed this crossword and understand all the clues except this one. Thanks again.
