Yes there is a Christmas cactus. If you're lucky it flowers at Christmas, (mine usually managed it nearer Easter!) and it has very pretty deep pink flowers.

Valanne, when I posted my first answer I hadn't seen your, or slaney's, post. I was thinking Christmas cactus would fit but wasn't sure if there was such a plant.

Only trying to be helpful by describing it. Mine died some years ago and I haven't seen them around. I might try and get another one this year.
