Good morning everyone - lovely, sunny and mild here today - just how Summer should be The rest of the country is going to the dogs, one way or another, but here in south oz, it's just fine - it'll be hot again later in the week but not for long and I shall be happy for small mercies

Mind you, Kate caused some disruption in the house earlier on, by throwing in one match so far out in left field, it sent me to a higher authority for adjudication - lucky for me, he came back one my side of the fence so the matches are -

Sparrow Hawk
Crown Prince
State House

No prizes for guessing which one and no surprises either that it didn't go off !!

Well the Star Turns for this week were ELSPETH & REG WARD, both managing to collect the six points on offer while 8 players scored two direct hits and a further 40 brave souls who figured Sparrow Hawk was the one to go with all put a point on their tally

A quiet start to the month however we hope for more later - we'll reconvene next Saturday, same time same place, hoping for an avalanche [of points, that is !!] to hit us, and I shall see you then .... skz

Well done the scorers. Seeing the Sparrowhawk yesterday was a good omen after all, but perhaps not for the sparrow!

I can't believe I'm off to such a good start with three points. Could this be a false sense of security or a flash in the pan. I'll just have to wait and see. Well done Elspeth and Reg and everyone else.
