For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I checked that last week on their help line and they were given as Lessons and Sap.
It may have been a misprint. Sometime ago they said there was no winner, I couldn't
understand this as I and am sure a lot of other people had all the correct answer.
I must not complain tooooooo much as I won a few weeks back so I now do it for
my sister-in-law.
By the way the help line is expensive and I've only used it when I've been stuck on
the last one or two.
Good luck
P.S. I would send them an e-mail pointing that out.

I think the frequently unsatisfactory answers in this puzzle help to boost usage of the costly helpline. I make a note of the ambiguous or obscure ones for future reference, such as last week: clue - raincoat, solution - gabErdine. It should be gabArdine, and
although gabErdine is often an alternative spelling, it has a different meaning (loose middle-east garment, as opposed to raincoat).
So, I use my precedents and also read the questions - or ask - here on AB.
Incidentally, in this week's, 55d goodbye was previously toodle oo and not toodle do
as some have posted here if you search for "500" or "record" in AB.
