33. Presented Match of the Day and Grandstand on BBCTV.    He also chaired  A Question of Sport.  He was well-known for his sayings e.g. "a game of two halves" could have been one.

To follow up.  He was an athlete that won the Manchester Mile - the first amateur to do so.  Injury made him give up an athletic career.
