It may be "irrelevant" to someone handing out answers like smarties.

Someone is trying to raise money for a good cause and you are possibly deterring people from entering by giving the answers too soon.

Surely almost 7 months (SEVEN!!) is enough time to figure out answers to what is a pretty easy quiz.

People are getting very choosy what they do with their money. As you quite rightly point out, there is a recession.

Even with the best charitable will in the world, they are not going to bother sending for a quiz where all the answers are already known to all and sundry.

Who are you to say what is easy or difficult for someone. The point of the site is questions and answers, Don't like the questions then leave. Don't keep coming on here just to moan at people. it's boring.

Yes it is a question and answer site and no-one is saying don't ask questions but by any standards a question asked almost SEVEN months before a closing date !!!

Who mentioned keeping the answers secret. The point being made was that when stacks of answers appear early on in a quiz, potential entrants are put off therefore THE CHARITY suffers. So anyone claiming that early postings do not matter really mean they couldn't give a stuff about a charity or anyone else.

Does the phrase "I'm alright Jack" mean anything to anyone?

I prefer to complete my crosswords myself, but I don't begrudge others asking for help, and if i don't want to see the answers others have got I don't have to read them.

I think the Ed posted something a while back about people moaning that answers were being given to questions here. I can't find it but the gist of it was that if it is something you find so offensive, you should leave.
