Why did a group of men request that the government provide them with chauffeur-driven cars?. The answers are either downright obscure or of a lateral thinking nature. Any ideas please.

Hi weecalf, I've only just found out the answer. They were Catholic Priests serving in Serbia. The government had recently introduced a zero tolerance policy on drink driving and, as the priests held mass in several churches scattered around their parishes, it required them to drive after consuming communion wine at each service.
No info' was forthcoming as to whether they were successful.
