Has anyone been to The Car Shop?

What a bunch of useless cowboys this lot are. I went with my daughter to look at a car and I asked what I thought were the normal questions to ask when buying a car, i.e. can we see the log sheet/mot certificate/service history? Who was the previous owner? Has there been any major work/replacements carried out on the vehicle? Has the vehicle been in any accidents? The young salesperson said I was trying to give him a hard time by asking difficult questions. I said I wanted to test drive the vehicle. We went out of the compound, turned left, left again, turned right went round a roundabout and back to the compound in the space of about 4 minutes. I asked when the test drive was going to begin but he said that was it. My daughter was just as bad. She said I should stop trying to embarrass the sales assistant. My daughter wanted the car. I was paying, hence all the questions. They wanted ME to provide ID before parting with my money. I couldn't believe the amateurish approach of the staff. The system at The Car Shop seems to be: There's the car, that's the price, give us the dosh and don't ask any questions. Would you buy a car from this lot? I did, but only because my daughter wanted it. If you're going to have a look, don't embarrass the staff with any questions!

Your to bloody soft 10, If that would have been my daughter it would have been, Questions & Questions, a good run out I WOULD have wanted every detail about the car If my daughter did not like it, tough @HIT she would have done without it, after all who will be paying if the thing broke down? on a point what was the warranty?
You sound like me. I'm the one everyone wants when they want a friend to have a look at their possible purchases. I bargain hard and fast to beat down the prices. Criticise any thing to reduce the price.
Just bought myself a nearly new car (5 weeks old and 35miles) for a good price plus a few goodies and more money off. Paid the ultimate compliment by the saleman after we shook hands on the deal, who said "You don't take any prisoners do you?".
My wife just stood there straight faced because she knows what I'm like!!
