I should say here that I have given up on this quiz and scrapped it. I have made such a mess of it that I would not be able to send it even if I completed it. However, there are a couple of clues that are really bugging me and that I cannot leave without knowing the answers. All answers are tools.

Did I say a couple? I should have counted more carefully. This is just for me, but of course, may help others. Hope this isn't counted as cheating.

Thanks everyone - I would never have got any of them. That was clever, No. 8 wasn't it? 1707 that is a brilliant suggestion. I have a copier so it would have been easy to do that. Why didn't I think of it (duh). I had crossings out, writings over, and trying to delete things with one of those correct-it gadgets. No way could anyone tell what it was supposed to be. Never mind, I shall get the next one, which I believe is not until the beginning of next year and shall know better.

Couldnt you have waited as you have obviously paid for it so could have got the answers when it ended - September 30th. It was only advertised on here on July 13th so you could put people off buying it if they think it is too hard. I do not know what you have gained by asking now
