Gap Year Insurance For Over 50's

Hi All, I am looking to take a year out and travel with my wife, we are 51 and 52 years old with no known illnesses , but when looking at gap year insurances , it looks like we have to be under 35.
Has anyone got any ideas on Insurance companies that cater for us, am fed up filling forms in online to then have a banner message stating that we cannot be catered for possibly due to age.
